Meanwhile, a wolf pup was sleeping on the other side of the hedge. She hadn't twitched at the noise from the opposite of the hedge.

"We're sorry ma'm, we were just on our way looking for someone." Heather aplogizes, feeling embarassed after she got off on Hammy. The older she-possum stare at Heather. "You look familar....have I've seen you before?" She asks. "No..." Heather answers, who was not familar with this other possum. The possum was sure she has seen Heather before. "What's your name sweetheart?" She asks kindly.
"I'm Heather....I'm looking for my mother." She told her. The possum was shocked. After all these years, Darla's Heather's mother, was finally reunited with her daughter once again. "Heather?! Wait....what's your father's name?" She asks, wanting to make sure this was the right Heather she had not seen in a long time.
"Ozzie." Heather answers. Darla smiles. "Oh Heather, I thought I've never seen you again. I am so happy to see you darling!!" Darla says hugging Heather. Heather didn't understand. Why was this stranger hugging her? "Wait, what you do mean you're happy to see me again, I don't know you!!" Heather cries, pulling herself away from the hug.
"I'm your mother." Darla told her. "What?! You're....my mom?!" Heather gasped. Was this true? Could this be the mother she was searching for? Heather was stunned!

Hammy was a little suspicious. He raised a cautious eyebrow. "Wait a minute you're Heather's mom. Why didn't you come and find her? If you were alive all this time how come you haven't come too looking for her before?"Hammy asked curiously.

Darla smiles hugging her beloved Heather once more. When Hammy ask her why Darla had not been around with Heather and Ozzie for so long, she paused with a small frown upon her face. "It was a long time ago....." Darla told Heather and Hammy. "Humans attack our family. I was the only one who survive the humans, but I got seperated from Heather and Ozzie, I've began searching for them, but I never found them." She told Hammy. Heather didn't understand. "Wait! Humans attack us?! When?" She wonder. "A long time ago sweetie, you were only a baby when this happen. That's why I haven't seen you and your father for years. But look at you, you're all grown up." Darla says.
"How's your father?" She asks. "Great, expect he plays dead too many times, it gets very....old." Heather answers. "Heather honey, playing possum is what possums do. We've done it for a long time since the first possum live on this earth. Without playing dead, we wouldn't be possums now would we?" Said Darla. "I guess not." Heather shrugs.

Heather was so happy to see her mother after for so many years, she didn't think she be alive after they parted for so long. Heather wonder if Ozzie would be happy to see Darla again. It's been too long since the last time her parents were together.

"He must really miss his family a lot." Darla whispers to Heather, notcing how down poor Hammy look. Heather couldn't help but notice how bad Hammy was feeling. Since he was kind enough to help her find her mother, perhaps Heather could find a way to help Hammy back.
"Mom, I got an idea." Heather says. Then she whispers close to her mother's ear, so Hammy wouldn't listen to her plan. "Are you sure about that?" Ask Darla. Heather nodded. "Sure why not?" "But what about your father?" The elder possum asks. "Don't worry. Dad can wait. We have to help Hammy find his family...if he has one." Heather replies. Then she turns over to Hammy. "Hammy my friend, I've got the perfect plan. Why don't we help you find your squirrel family?" Heather asks Hammy.
